Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, recently conducted a significant visit to the Agnibaaz Division to assess its operational readiness and evolving combat capabilities. This visit aligns with the Indian Army’s commitment to modernization and the development of technologically advanced military units.
During his time at the Agnibaaz Division, Lt Gen Seth was presented with an in-depth briefing on the formation’s sophisticated systems for Imagery Interpretation, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and targeting architecture. These advanced capabilities are designed to facilitate real-time intelligence fusion, which plays a critical role in enhancing battlefield awareness and improving decision-making processes.
In addition to his review of technical systems, the Army Commander evaluated the new units and recent acquisitions within the Regiment of Artillery.
