Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, the General Officer Commanding of the Indian Army’s Spear Corps, recently undertook a crucial forward-area visit to evaluate operational preparedness in the high-altitude regions of Arunachal Pradesh. This visit occurs amid heightened attention on border security along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China, making the assessment particularly significant.
During his visit, Lt Gen Pendharkar reviewed troop deployments in the region’s challenging terrain and harsh weather conditions.
