During a recent visit to the Army Service Corps (ASC) Centre and College, Lieutenant General VMB Krishnan, the Quarter Master General of the Indian Army, conducted a comprehensive assessment of ongoing and future infrastructure development initiatives. The visit took place on December 13, 2025, and focused on significant projects aimed at enhancing both training and administrative facilities.

A key aspect of the review was the inspection of upgrades specifically tailored for Agniveers, the newly introduced cadre aimed at infusing fresh talent into the Indian Army. The General Officer received detailed briefings on various measures being implemented to increase capacity and efficiency while aligning with the evolving needs of the Army.

Lt Gen Krishnan also toured several cutting-edge technology infusion projects within the establishment. Noteworthy among these were drone training laboratories, a Skill Development Centre, and an advanced Air Maintenance training node. These developments are strategically designed to boost technical skills and operational readiness across the Corps, preparing personnel for modern challenges on the battlefield.
