In a recent visit aimed at bolstering troop morale, Lt Gen R.C. Tiwari, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command, assessed the operational readiness and infrastructure development of the Brahmastra Corps at the newly instituted Chopra Defence Land. This visit highlights the dedication toward establishing a robust defensive framework in the region.
During his engagements with the troops, Lt Gen Tiwari commended their exceptional enthusiasm, professional demeanor, and relentless efforts in operationalizing the new defence base within an impressively short timeframe. He noted that their commitment to readiness, particularly amid logistical challenges and adverse environmental conditions, exemplifies the adaptability and dedication of the Indian Army to the nation’s defense needs.
Lt Gen Tiwari emphasized the necessity for all personnel to uphold the highest operational standards, advising them to remain vigilant and proactive in facing the evolving security landscape along the eastern frontier. He articulated that maintaining operational readiness is pivotal for safeguarding India’s strategic interests in the current geopolitical climate.
As part of his itinerary, the Army Commander also met with local civil dignitaries, including Shri Hamidul Rahaman, MLA of Chopra Constituency.
