Major General Tushar Sharma, VSM, has taken command as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Counter Insurgency Force Kilo (CIF K), succeeding Major General Vivek Narang. This leadership transition is significant for one of the Indian Army’s vital operational formations under the Chinar Corps in Jammu and Kashmir.
Upon assuming his role, Maj Gen Sharma paid heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.
