In a significant move aimed at bolstering military readiness, Major General Vikas Bhardwaj, General Officer Commanding of the Jharkhand & Bihar Sub Area, conducted an extensive assessment of training, operational capabilities, and administrative preparedness at two pivotal locations: Ramgarh Cantonment and the Ranchi Military Station.
During the visit, Maj Gen Bhardwaj undertook inspections of key installations, including the Punjab Regimental Centre and the Sikh Regimental Centre. The review extended to critical support infrastructure, encompassing medical, logistics, and administrative facilities. This comprehensive examination underscores a holistic approach to enhancing operational capability across the armed forces.
Maj Gen Bhardwaj praised the formations for their unwavering commitment to maintaining high training standards. Maj Gen Bhardwaj conducted a thorough review of the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) facilities and ongoing welfare measures for Veeranganas and veterans.
