Seema Dhaka, a head constable at Delhi’s Samaypur Badli police station, on Wednesday became the first Delhi Police personnel to be awarded an “out-of-turn promotion” after she rescued 76 missing children in under three months.
The promotion came under the Asadharan Karya Puraskar incentive scheme announced by the city’s commissioner of police in August this year, an official release said.
WHC Seema Dhaka is currently posted in the Outer North District. She has been granted Promotion out-of-turn by CP Delhi for recovery of 76 missing children in the last 3 months.
She is the first woman officer to be given Promotion out-of-turn under the new incentive scheme announced by the CP, Delhi for the recovery of missing children. By her efforts, she has been able to bring joy and happiness to the affected families. Delhi Police is proud of her.
