The National Integration Tour, organized as part of Operation Sadbhavana by the Ace of Spades Division, recently concluded with an inspiring interaction between participants and the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps. The GOC took the opportunity to encourage the young attendees to strive for excellence, cultivate self-confidence, and make meaningful contributions to the nation.
This initiative specifically aimed to empower youth from border regions, bringing together a diverse group of 20 students from Rajouri and Poonch. The tour sought to expand their horizons, instill a sense of national pride, and provide them with a glimpse into India’s multifaceted military and educational landscape.
Throughout the multi-day tour, the students had the opportunity to visit several prestigious military and educational establishments, which included:
– National Defence Academy (NDA) in Khadakwasla
– Armoured Corps Centre and School (ACCS)
– School of Artillery in Deolali
– Southern Command War Memorial in Pune
– Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park
These visits were designed to offer invaluable insights into military discipline, ethos, and leadership, helping students appreciate India’s rich martial traditions.
The experience was not only educational but also transformative, instilling core values among the participants such as discipline, unity, leadership, and patriotism.
