NCC 55 SSB Interview Dates Out Now

Update: The link to choose the Service Selection Board (SSB) date for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 55 Course (April 2024), available to both male and female candidates, including the wards of army personnel who have been casualties in battle, is now active. Candidates must select their SSB date through the date selection link accessible within their profile. Please note that the link will continue to be accessible until 5:00 PM on November 11, 2023.

NCC 55 Cut Off Marks

Minimum Qualifying Marks – For the NCC Special Entry Scheme 55 Course (April 2024), pertaining to the Short Service Commission for both male and female candidates (also encompassing wards of army battle casualties), the threshold for shortlisting applications for the SSB interview is established at a graduation marks percentage of 60% or higher.

The Indian Army will release the NCC 55 SSB Interview Dates on its official website. As per the trends, the SSB dates will be starting from 6 November 2023. Furthermore, the Candidates will get the opportunity to select the dates at their convenience, but they will not be able to select the centre. NCC 55 SSB Dates

The NCC SSB Interview Dates will be published on the Indian Army’s official website. According to current patterns, the SSB dates will begin around 1st week of November 2023. Furthermore, candidates will be able to choose the dates that work best for them, but they will not be able to choose the location. The corresponding SSB Centre will be provided by the Indian Army Website on its own.

NCC 55 SSB Interview Instructions

• Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Selection Centres, Allahabad(UP), Bhopal(MP), Bangalore (Karnataka), and Jalandhar (PB). Call-up letters for SSB interviews will be issued by the respective Selection Centre on candidates’ registered e-mail id and SMS only. Allotment of the Selection Centre is at the discretion of the Directorate General of Recruiting, IHQ of MoD (Army) and No request for changes will be entertained in this regard.
• Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure. Those who clear Stage I will go to Stage II. Those who fail in stage I will be returned on the same day. The duration of the SSB interview is five days and details of the same are available on the official website of the Directorate General of Recruiting ie www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. This will be followed by a medical examination for the candidates who get recommended after Stage II.
• Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be issued joining letters for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.
