SSB Interview Lecturette’s process

Candidates will be seated in a semi-circle with a podium-like object between them. Each slip would have four subjects with varying degrees of difficulty. The top slip is chosen by the first contestant, who then has three minutes to prepare on any of the four topics of his choice. After three minutes, a bell rings to invite him forward to deliver his speech while the next contender gets ready. He will get three minutes to talk, with an end-of-minute warning bell and a final bell at the end of the third minute. After that, the following contestant begins to speak, and so on until the final candidate. Since there won’t be any interruptions during this test, you are solely responsible for your performance. The following actions are necessary for a good score:

  • Boost your oratory and communication skills.
  • Keep up with the most recent national and international events.
  • When giving a lecture, be certain.
  • Conduct smart, concise acts.
  • Participate actively in social networking to improve your communication and informational skills.
  • Use clear words and precise pronunciation to impressively present a sentence.
  • Avoid making ridiculous grammar errors like his-her, has-had, etc. All of these provide the wrong impression.
  • Keeping your speaking pauses and breaks in check will help you keep the lecture’s pace.
