The Officers’ Transport Management Course at the ASC Centre & College (ASCC&C) in Bengaluru wrapped up on November 3, 2025, after equipping participants with vital skills to enhance operational and logistical efficiency in mechanical transport management. The program attracted a diverse group of attendees, including both Indian Army officers and eight officers from various Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs), fostering an environment of mutual learning and professional exchange.

Participants hailed from several countries, including Benin, Botswana, Cameroon, the Philippines, and Lesotho, in addition to officers from the Indian Army. The course emphasized advanced techniques critical for the effective operation, maintenance, and management of mechanical transport. These skills are essential for supporting modern military mobility and logistics operations.

During the Valedictory Address, Lieutenant General J.K. Gera, the Commandant of ASC Centre & College, congratulated the officers on their accomplishment and spoke about the indispensable role that logistics and transport management play in operational preparedness, particularly in times of war and high-tempo military operations. He encouraged officers to persistently seek innovation in logistics planning and execution to uphold the Indian Army’s renowned readiness and adaptability.

In recognition of academic excellence, Lieutenant Madhulika Negi was honored as the Best Student of the course. Her remarkable performance showcased exceptional proficiency, leadership, and a commitment to learning, reflecting the high standards upheld by the ASC Centre & College.
