ParaZero Technologies Secures Contract for Counter-Unmanned Aerial System Technology

Israeli autonomous systems developer ParaZero Technologies has signed a significant contract to provide its counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) technology to a distinguished defense organization. This contract underscores the increasing need for advanced anti-drone solutions as international militaries and civilian agencies confront escalating security threats posed by drones.

ParaZero’s systems aim to protect users’ key capabilities, which include safeguarding critical infrastructure, military operations, and public spaces from aerial threats while ensuring minimal disruption. Although the specific product linked to this new order has not been disclosed, the company’s flagship C-UAS offerings include the DefendAir. This system is capable of intercepting hostile drones midair using a handheld unit, a drone-mounted platform, or fixed and vehicle-mounted systems.

Additionally, the company has developed the Stationary Net Turret Launcher, an enhanced variant of the DefendAir equipped with automatic optical detection and tracking features that facilitate engagements without human intervention.

Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero Technologies, highlighted the significance of the new order, stating, “Securing another order from a prestigious defense organization is a strong testament to the trust in our technology.” He emphasized that the company’s C-UAS solutions are designed to meet the rising demand for effective drone mitigation systems and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the highest levels of safety and security for their clients.

This contract follows a successful field trial of the Stationary Net Turret Launcher in Israel last month. Furthermore, in January, the Israeli Ministry of Defense approved ParaZero’s export of the DefendAir system, paving the way for global sales to governments, defense agencies, and private firms. The company had also received a similar C-UAS order in September 2024, alongside a follow-on contract signed in October.
