In a recent visit to the Army Hospital (Research and Referral), Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh gained firsthand insight into the latest advancements in military healthcare through a live demonstration and a comprehensive Technology Exhibition organized by the Armed Forces Medical Services.
The exhibition was built around four key themes: Empowered Living, Conflict Medical Support, Digital Health, and Discovery to Devices. Each theme represented a crucial aspect of how modern military healthcare is evolving to meet the demands of contemporary combat and operational scenarios.
During the tour, the Raksha Mantri reviewed a range of innovations that included trauma care systems, critical care systems, battlefield evacuation techniques, prosthetics, rehabilitation technologies, and telemedicine solutions. Many of these technologies have been indigenously developed, highlighting a significant stride towards self-reliance in defense healthcare.
The exhibition served as a platform to showcase the commitment of the Armed Forces Medical Services to modernize military healthcare infrastructure. It emphasized the importance of enhancing operational readiness in combat situations and promoting indigenous innovation as part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
The visit underscored the essential role that advanced medical capabilities play in modern warfare. The Armed Forces are continually working to integrate cutting-edge technology and innovative practices to ensure world-class healthcare for soldiers, both in times of peace and during conflict.
