In a significant development in the defense sector, Pablo Air, based in Incheon, has unveiled its latest innovation: the S10s suicide drone, specifically designed for anti-tank operations. The drone carries a one-kilogram (2.2-pound) warhead, emphasizing its capability to target armored vehicles effectively.
One of the standout features of the S10s is its ability to execute a “salvo strike.” This advanced tactical maneuver allows multiple drones to strike a single target either simultaneously or in quick succession, increasing the likelihood of penetrating defenses and successfully disabling or destroying targets.
The drone boasts impressive specifications, including a flying duration of up to 30 minutes and a maximum speed of 150 kilometers per hour (93 miles per hour). It can operate within a range of 38 kilometers (24 miles), allowing it to engage targets from a significant distance, enhancing operational safety for its operators.
This entry into the defense market marks a strategic move for Pablo Air, as it seeks to leverage drone technology in military applications. The introduction of the S10s aligns with global trends where nations increasingly look towards unmanned aerial systems for modern warfare, particularly in roles that require precision and risk management in combat scenarios.
