The official website of the Indian Army has given an update on the new RTPCR negative report policy. According to the new update, RTPCR negative report is not required from the candidates who are double vaccinated and have no symptoms at the time of reporting.
- CANDIDATES WHO HAVE A VACCINATION CERTIFICATE FOR TWO DOSES GENERATED FROM COWIN PLATFORM AND ARE ASYMPTOMATIC ON ARRIVAL WILL BE EXEMPTED FROM CARRYING A NEGATIVE RTPCR REPORT WEF 20 SEP 2021.
- SERVICE ENTRY CANDIDATES WHO HAVE A VACCINATION CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY MH FOR TWO DOSES AND ARE ASYMPTOMATIC ON ARRIVAL WILL BE EXEMPTED FROM CARRYING A NEGATIVE RTPCR REPORT WEF 20 SEP 2021.
- ALL CANDIDATES (INCLUDING SERVICE ENTRY CANDIDATES) WHO DO NOT POSSESS THE VACCINATION CERTIFICATE WILL BE REQD TO PRODUCE RTPCR NEGATIVE REPORT AS IN VOGUE. THE RTPCR TEST SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED WITHIN 72 HRS OF REPORTING AT THE SELECTION CENTRE.
