Students from Degree College, Poonch, recently took part in a National Integration Tour organized by the Ace of Spade Division, with support from the White Knight Corps. A highlight of their tour was a visit to the prestigious Rashtrapati Bhavan, where they had the unique opportunity to interact with the Hon’ble President of India.
In addition to their visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan, the students explored several other significant sites in the capital. They visited the Prime Minister’s Museum and Library (PM Sangrahalaya), which offered them insights into India’s leadership and governance throughout history. Their itinerary also included a trip to the National Museum, where they gained a deeper appreciation for India’s diverse cultural heritage.
The primary focus of the National Integration Tour is to broaden participants’ perspectives, promote national pride, and connect youth more closely with the essence of the nation. By exposing students to institutions that epitomize India’s constitutional values and historical narrative, the tour plays a crucial role in instilling a sense of civic responsibility among young citizens.
This initiative reflects the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to nation-building, emphasizing people-centric outreach and engagement with the country’s youth. It seeks not only to educate but also to inspire the younger generation, fostering a sense of unity and belonging in a diverse nation.
