NCC: It is always a good idea to stay informed about the organization for which you are interviewing. The same theory applies to the SSB interview. Aspirants for the SSB should be aware of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and similar organizations for which they are attending SSB.

Defence aspirants attending SSB for NCC Special entry and other entries must maintain an understanding of the NCC’s basic framework as well as a significant level of knowledge of the National Cadet Corps’ weapons. It is always a good idea to stay informed about the organization for which you are interviewing. The same theory applies to the SSB interview.

Description of NCC Flag

The NCC flag is made of 3 colours that are Red, Blue, and light blue. Red describes the Indian Army, Blue describes the Navy and light blue describes the Indian Airforce. The Flag has 17 lotuses which represent the 17 directorates. The Flag has a gold crest in the middle with NCC written.

Difference between Gun and Rifle

Gun – Termed as a Firearm, a short barrel, does not require the support of shoulders, used in artillery and combats. Examples are tanks, Guns, and Machine Guns.
