Young Soldiers Passing Out Parade Held At Remount Veterinary Corps Centre and College

Attestation Parade on completion of basic & advanced military training for passed out recruits was held at parade ground with ceremonial fervour at Remount Veterinary Corps Centre and College (RVC C&C). Young soldiers took the oath of allegiance & commitment towards the organization.

The Remount and Veterinary Corps is an administrative and operational branch of the Indian Army, and one of its oldest formations. It is responsible for breeding, rearing and training of all animals used in the army.

The role of RVC Centre and College is to train RVC Officers, men and Army dogs of the Corps/Other Arms and Services including students from friendly foreign countries. The RVC Centre and College are the alma mater of all RVC pers where they join, get trained and retire from service. The Centre imparts basic military and tech training to young veterinary graduates on commissioning and various tech trades of the Corps like Dressers, Riders, Army Dog Trainers, Kennelmen, Laboratory Attendants, Farriers, Clerks and other categories to make them proficient in the noble profession of service to mute animals which are force multipliers.
