A recent Passing Out Parade at the Air Force Technical College (AFTC) celebrated the graduation of 108 Engineering Officers. Among them were nine officers from Friendly Foreign Countries, including Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Ghana, and Uganda. The ceremony took place on March 7, 2026, with Air Marshal Sanjiv Ghuratia, AOM, serving as the Reviewing Officer.

In his address to the newly commissioned officers, Air Marshal Ghuratia stressed the necessity of preparing for the challenges of modern warfare. He urged the graduates to embrace innovation, teamwork, and self-reliance, highlighting that technical excellence and adaptability are critical for enhancing the operational capabilities of the Indian Air Force (IAF) in a rapidly evolving battlefield landscape.

The parade was marked by spectacular aerial displays, featuring a flypast of Dornier aircraft and Mi-17 helicopters. This display captivated the audience, who responded with enthusiastic applause. Furthermore, the ‘Air Devils’ skydiving team delivered a thrilling demonstration, showcasing their precision and professionalism through various aerial maneuvers.

An impressive highlight of the event was the performance by the all-women Air Warrior Drill Team (AWDT), whose synchronized drill routine garnered widespread appreciation from the attendees.
