In a noteworthy advancement for India’s defence capabilities, 28 officers from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force have successfully completed the esteemed Advanced Communication Technology Course at the Military Institute of Technology (MILIT) located in Pune. This rigorous training is designed to provide officers with essential skills in spectral, cellular, and cyber communications, which are vital for effective operations across multiple domains in modern warfare.
The valedictory ceremony marking the completion of the course was attended by Major General Praveen Bakshi, who holds the positions of Additional Director General of Signal Intelligence and Assistant Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Signal Intelligence) at the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff. During his address to the graduating officers, Major General Bakshi praised their dedication during the course and encouraged them to apply their newfound knowledge to improve operational efficiency in an increasingly technology-driven battlefield.
He highlighted the critical importance of effective communication networks in contemporary military engagements and the need for mastery over these systems to achieve seamless coordination among various defence sectors.
