The AVGC Sector In The Country Has The Potential To Become The Torch Bearer Of Create In India And Brand India.
  • The Task Force Will Be Headed By The Secretary, Ministry Of Information And Broadcasting. The I&B Ministry Said, The Country Has The Potential To Capture 40 Billion Dollars Of The Global Market Share By The Year 2025, With An Annual Growth Of Around 25 To 30 Percent And Creating Over One Lakh 60 Thousand New Jobs Annually.

Terror Strikes In Israel’s Tel Aviv

  • In Israel, At least two people were killed and several wounded during an attack in the city of Tel Aviv.
  • Israeli emergency services said, the shooting took place in the Dizengoff Street area, one of the busiest in the city, which is popular with people going to bars and restaurants.
  • Meanwhile, Israeli security forces have killed a Palestinian who opened fire at a bar.
  • According to media reports, hours earlier he had attacked people at the bar on Dizengoff Street.
  • The shooting comes days after a spate of attacks across the country claimed 11 lives.
  • The popular nightlife area on Dizengoff Street was the scene of a deadly shooting in 2016.

Russia Suspended From The UN Human Rights Council

  • The United Nations General Assembly has voted in favour of the suspension of Russia from the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC). A vote on whether or not to suspend Russia from the Human Rights Council took place after the US envoy to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield made a case for seeking the suspension of Russia from the Human Rights Council in front of the UN Security Council on Tuesday.
  • The resolution received a two-thirds majority of those voting, minus abstentions, in the 193-member Assembly, with 93 nations voting in favour and 24 against. Fifty-eight nations including India abstained from the process.
  • The meeting marked the resumption of a special emergency session on the Russian military action in Ukraine and followed reports of violations committed by Russian forces. Hundreds of civilian bodies were found in the streets including mass graves in the city of Bucha, a suburb of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv following Russia’s withdrawal from the area.
