The Kharga Warriors initiated a groundbreaking Drone Engagement Competition at the Naraingarh Field Firing Ranges, showcasing their commitment to operational innovation and combat readiness within the Indian Army. The competition attracted participation from 59 teams across various arms and services, all eager to demonstrate their advanced skills in detecting, tracking, and neutralizing hostile drones both during the day and at night. The large-scale exercise highlighted the Army’s heightened emphasis on counter-drone operations, validating novel operational techniques designed to improve force protection and battlefield efficiency.
At the prize distribution ceremony, Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, General Officer Commanding of the Kharga Corps, praised the teams for their ingenuity, precision, and unwavering dedication in developing Hard-Kill capabilities—an essential strategy for neutralizing hostile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). He recognized their significant contributions to advancing the Army’s preparedness, aiming for superior operational effectiveness in future conflict scenarios.
