In a significant event that underscores the valor and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, inaugurated the Motorcycle Expedition ‘Wheels of Valour’ on October 4, 2025. The expedition commenced at the Southern Command War Memorial in Pune and features a team of 14 motorcyclists embarking on a remarkable journey.

The ride is set to cover approximately 2400 kilometers across seven cities within the Southern Command’s jurisdiction, celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of the 1965 Indo-Pak War and coinciding with the 79th Raising Day of the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE). The initial leg from Pune to Belgaum was ceremoniously flagged off by the Army Commander, adding to the event’s prestige.

The ‘Wheels of Valour’ expedition serves as a poignant tribute to the unmatched courage and sacrifices made by members of the Indian Armed Forces.
