A contingent of 112 Student Officers, accompanied by Directing Staff from the esteemed Higher Command Course, conducted an insightful visit to the Headquarters Eastern Command in Vijay Durg, Kolkata. Upon arrival, the delegation was greeted by Senior Officers of the Eastern Command, who engaged in discussions designed to impart valuable insights about the current security environment, operational readiness, and the geopolitical challenges faced in the Eastern Theatre. The officers received extensive briefings regarding the multi-faceted responsibilities of the Command, which oversees India’s extensive eastern front. This includes borders with several nations, such as China, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal.
