In a vibrant celebration of Diwali, Air Marshal Balakrishnan Manikantan, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, recently visited Air Force Station Darbhanga alongside Dr. Nirmala Manikantan, President of the Air Force Families Welfare Association (AFFWA) Regional. The visit aimed to honor the dedicated Air Force personnel and their families during the festive season.
During their time at the air base, Air Marshal Manikantan engaged in heartfelt interactions with the officers and airmen, as well as their families. He praised their unwavering commitment and professionalism in serving the nation, acknowledging the sacrifices they make, particularly during significant occasions like Diwali. In a gesture of goodwill, he personally distributed sweets among the deployed personnel, extending warm Diwali greetings and expressing appreciation for their dedication even in the midst of celebrations.
Dr. Nirmala Manikantan also took the opportunity to convey her best wishes to the Sanginis—the wives of Air Force personnel—commending their strength and essential contributions to building a supportive community within the Air Force.
