The Indian Air Force (IAF) is preparing to host its inaugural International Squash Championship at Air Force Station New Delhi from 24 to 28 November 2025. This significant event is poised to enhance sportsmanship and foster international camaraderie, highlighting the importance of fitness culture within both the Armed Forces and the wider community.
The championship is set to feature a range of competitions, including both Team Events and Open Singles, attracting top squash players from around the globe as well as representatives from various military contingents. In an effort to promote inclusivity, the IAF has also introduced exclusive categories for serving and veteran players of the Indian Air Force. These categories are specifically divided into age groups of 40 years and above and 50 years and above. This initiative underscores the IAF’s commitment to encouraging lifelong fitness and healthy competition among its personnel, ensuring that sports remain an integral part of their lives.
