Lieutenant General A V S Rathee, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Konark Corps, recently conducted a thorough review of the initiatives implemented at the Konark Corps Technology Centre. He commended the Centre for its significant role in upskilling personnel and fostering in-house capability development to better prepare for future conflicts.
During his visit, Lt Gen Rathee expressed his appreciation for the Centre’s commitment to technology infusion, innovation, and the creation of indigenous solutions designed to enhance operational effectiveness. He emphasized the importance of these initiatives in equipping the Army for high-tech, multi-domain warfare, where attributes such as agility, digital proficiency, and rapid adaptability are crucial for success.
The GOC pointed out that the Technology Centre exemplifies the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, demonstrating how grassroots innovation and internal development can help decrease reliance on external sources. This approach accelerates capability enhancement at the formation level, reinforcing the Indian Army’s dedication to self-reliance and modernization.
