This visit is part of ongoing efforts to bolster the Navy’s presence and capabilities in strategically important regions.

During his time at the naval base, VAdm Saxena conducted a comprehensive review of the operational imperatives critical to the region. He assessed the progress of various infrastructure projects that are essential for enhancing the overall operational capacity and readiness of the naval facility. A highlight of the visit was VAdm Saxena’s interaction with personnel during a Barakhana, where he took the opportunity to commend the service members for their professionalism, dedication, and resilience.
