NCB Busts Pan-India Drug Network ‘Team Kalki’

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has dismantled a large drug trafficking network known as “Team Kalki.”

The group allegedly used darknet marketplaces and encrypted communication platforms to distribute narcotic substances across India.

Investigations reveal that the network had been active since January 2025, managing deliveries through courier and parcel services. Acting on intelligence gathered over several months, the NCB conducted a targeted operation in New Delhi.

Authorities suspect the group may have sent more than 1,000 drug consignments during this period.

The NCB operates under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and serves as India’s primary agency responsible for preventing drug trafficking and enforcing narcotics laws.
