The Low Intensity Conflict Operations Course, held at the Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School (CIJWS) in Vairengte, concluded on 18 March 2026, signifying an important advancement in the realm of counter-insurgency training. In his closing remarks, Major General Kulvir Singh, SM, Commandant of CIJWS, highlighted several key aspects critical to modern military operations. Lt Aryan Shahi from the Madras Regiment was awarded the title of Best Student in the Officers’ category, while Naik Abhishek from the Rajputana Rifles was recognized as the Best Student in the JCO/NCO category. Such accolades reflect the high standards and competencies fostered through the program.
