A Passing Out Parade celebrated the successful completion of the Basic Qualification (Radar Plotter) Agniveer Course at the Navigation Direction School of the Indian Navy. The event showcased a display of precise drill and discipline, symbolizing the end of an intensive training period and the readiness of the Agniveers to assume essential navigational roles aboard frontline naval ships.
Over 12 weeks, the trainees participated in a rigorous and comprehensive program that covered navigation direction, radar plotting, small arms handling, security duties, and physical conditioning. The training regimen also incorporated co-curricular activities such as public speaking and debates, which were designed to enhance the Agniveers’ confidence, communication skills, and overall personality development.
The parade’s review was conducted by the Officer-in-Charge, who expressed admiration for the Agniveers’ dedication and high standards of performance throughout their training. Trainees who excelled were recognized with awards for their professional competence, academic excellence, and exemplary military bearing.
As these newly trained Agniveers conclude their course, they are scheduled to be inducted into active service on various frontline warships of the Indian Navy, where they will play vital roles in maritime operations and contribute to the nation’s security.
This occasion marked a significant milestone not only for the trainees but also for their families, as they embark on their new careers in service to the nation. The event underscored the Indian Navy’s commitment to developing a skilled, disciplined, and future-ready force, ready to meet the challenges of modern naval warfare.
