Lieutenant General Ajay Chandpuria, AVSM, VSM, has officially taken over as the Commandant of the Army War College (AWC) located in Mhow. This important transition occurred during a formal handing-over ceremony that was attended by senior officers, faculty members, and staff associated with the institution.
Previously, Lieutenant General Harjeet Singh Sahi, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, held this esteemed position and has left a significant impact during his tenure. Under Lt Gen Sahi’s leadership, the AWC made considerable strides in various domains. Notable advancements included the enhancement of training methodologies, the development of military doctrines, incorporation of red teaming practices, the promotion of digital learning initiatives, and a comprehensive upgrade of infrastructure.
