Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, Director General of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), presided over the 11th Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM) Level III meeting held at the Armed Forces Medical Stores Depot (AFMSD) in Mumbai. This significant event took place on May 16, 2026, focusing on critical aspects concerning the welfare, service conditions, and training for Defence Civilian personnel within the DGAFMS cadre.

During the meeting, Vice Admiral Sarin voiced her appreciation for the indispensable roles played by both industrial and non-industrial employees across various AFMS establishments.
