Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Naval Command, recently completed his inaugural visit to the Indian Navy Incubation Centre for Artificial Intelligence (INICAI) in Bengaluru. This visit, held on July 6, 2026, marks a significant step in the Navy’s pursuit of advanced technological integration.
During the visit, Vice Admiral Vatsayan received comprehensive briefings on various homegrown artificial intelligence applications and cutting-edge technology tools that have been developed at INICAI. These innovations are aimed at bolstering the operational capabilities and enhancing decision-making processes within the Indian Navy, thereby preparing it to address contemporary maritime challenges more effectively.
