The Leadership & Management Course at the Junior Leaders Academy (JLA) in Bareilly successfully concluded on July 22, 2026, after a rigorous six-week program aimed at enhancing leadership skills among junior military leaders from various security organizations.
This iteration of the course brought together participants from the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Assam Rifles, and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), highlighting the increasing importance of joint training efforts and inter-service collaboration. The comprehensive curriculum was tailored to equip these junior leaders with the operational competencies necessary for addressing the complexities of modern military engagements.
Participants engaged in a broad spectrum of training focused on decision-making, leadership dynamics, resilience, professional ethics, and technological capabilities. As part of the ceremony, Brig Kapoor recognized exceptional achievers by presenting awards, with Havildar Maninder Singh of the Sikh Regiment taking home the title of Best Student. His exemplary leadership qualities and consistent performance throughout the course set a standard for his peers.
