Bengaluru witnessed the successful conclusion of the Advance Supply Chain Management & Food Technology Course for officers of the Army Service Corps (ASC) on July 27, 2026. Hosted at the ASC Centre & College, the specialised programme aimed to bolster the professional abilities of these officers in the realms of military logistics, supply chain management, and food technology, thereby preparing them to address the evolving logistical demands faced by the Indian Army.
The course facilitated intensive training sessions focused on contemporary supply chain practices, operational logistics, and food technology. It also emphasized the integration of emerging technologies into military sustainment systems, ultimately enhancing the officers’ capabilities to provide seamless logistical support across various operational scenarios.
During the valedictory ceremony, Lieutenant General JK Gera, Commandant of the ASC Centre & College, highlighted the critical importance of domain expertise in maintaining operational readiness. He pointed out that the continuous adaptation of emerging technologies and innovative logistics solutions is essential for enhancing the efficiency and resilience of military supply chains. Furthermore, he emphasized the imperative of implementing global best practices to keep pace with the rapidly changing logistics landscape.

The closing ceremony also featured accolades for exceptional performance, with Colonel Ajay Kant Bhadouria being named the Best Student of the course.
