The Anti Submarine Warfare School has proudly celebrated the graduation of the Agniveer Basic (Weapon and Sensor) Courses, marking a significant milestone in the training of India’s latest maritime warriors.
Over the course of 12 weeks, the Agniveers underwent an intensive training program that equipped them with essential skills in Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), including the use of weapons and sensors. In addition to technical instruction, trainees engaged in small arms firing, demolition, security, and sentry duties. The program was designed not only to hone their combat skills but also to encourage holistic development. Participants took part in sports competitions, adventure camps, and debates, fostering skills such as teamwork, leadership, and resilience among the future sailors.
Recognition was given to standout performers from the course, who were awarded trophies and book prizes for their exceptional efforts. The distinguished graduates included Kashish, Kapil Gangwar, Priyanka, Subhashini Yadav, Kaif Ahmed, and Jaikumar Shailendra Dubey, all of whom excelled in their training cohorts.
The ASW School extended its congratulations to all graduating Agniveers and their families, expressing confidence in their abilities to enhance maritime security and operational readiness for the Indian Navy.
This graduation event underscores the Indian Navy’s commitment to rigorous training and operational excellence under the Agnipath scheme, ensuring that the next generation of sailors is well-prepared for the challenges ahead.
