Air Marshal B Manikantan, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, recently conducted a visit to Air Force Station Bareilly to assess its operational preparedness and overall efficiency. Upon his arrival, he was honored with a ceremonial Guard of Honour, symbolizing the respect and discipline integral to the Indian Air Force.
During his visit, the Air Marshal received a comprehensive briefing regarding the station’s various operational activities, its maintenance framework, and administrative systems. He meticulously inspected the combat units stationed at Bareilly, reviewing their recent accomplishments and future plans for capability enhancement. These plans are designed to bolster the stationโs operational effectiveness, ensuring its readiness to meet any challenges that may arise.
In a move aimed at improving the welfare and recreation facilities for personnel and their families, Air Marshal Manikantan inaugurated a newly constructed swimming pool at the station. This addition is expected to enrich the quality of life for the air warriors and their families stationed there.
Throughout his interactions with officers, air warriors, and support staff, the AOC-in-C praised the commitment and professionalism exhibited by the personnel.
