Pakistani media channels have recently hinted at the involvement of Indian special troops in cross-border operations. According to Amiruddin Mughal, a Samma TV journalist, four teenage people of Dhiki Chakanad near the Neelum Valley control line were allegedly shot by Indian occupation forces. The victims were identified as Nasir, Shafiq, Nadeem, and Ghulam Nabi, who were claimed to be hunting for herbs in the forest at the time of the event. Unfortunately, the Indian army is said to have seized Khan’s body.
Cross-Border Operations by Indian Special Forces
According to Indian reports, these operations targeted cadres of the People’s Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF), a proxy organisation of the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed. According to Indian authorities, the action was based on intelligence and targeted PAFF members who were supposedly at a launch location. PAFF has recently been implicated in ambushes against Indian special forces, killing at least nine Para SF members.
Furthermore, PAFF has mocked Indian special forces on social media platforms such as Telegram. However, India has recorded the elimination of roughly 15 PAFF cadres in Kashmir and across the Line of Control (LOC) in the last three weeks.
While reports in Pakistani media suggest that Indian special forces may have conducted cross-border operations, it is vital to note that official comments from both nations have yet to confirm or refute these allegations. The situation in the region is very dangerous, with ongoing skirmishes between security troops and insurgent groups.
