Recently an Army helicopter got crashed in Machhna hamlet in Marwah tehsil, Kishtwar District, Jammu and Kashmir. When the chopper crashed, up to three people were on board both Pilots were injured in the incident and one was killed. Indian Army took to Twitter and expressed their gratitude and recognition towards the villagers of Machhna.
Many Villagers accumulated when the chopper crash happened and without hesitating they all helped all the crew on the crash site. Villagers of Machna, Kishtwar provided timely invaluable assistance in aiding the aircrew, who made a precautionary landing on the banks of River Marua. This shows the testimony of the trust and goodwill that exists between the Indian Army and the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army cherishes this bond and surely continue to work towards enhancing it further in the years to come. CFN (Avn Tech) Pabballa Anil, got martyred in the crash after the Operational flying of ALH in Kishtwar on 4 May 23.

In a video that came out from the crash site, the Army Aviation pilot was seen refusing to take medical aid from the villagers who were providing the same. Possible reasons could be that either the pilot is disappointed by the maintenance and repairment of the ALH Helicopter or it can be post-incident trauma which is very common after such incidents.

An Army ALH (Dhruv) Helicopter got crashed in the village of Machhna in the Marwah tehsil of the Kishtwar District of Jammu & Kashmir. When the helicopter crashed, three people were inside. Accordingly, both the pilots are safe and other crew member got killed in the incident. This crash is third in the number of crash incidents reportedly in the last 2 months.
