Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, conducted an important review of the security situation and operational readiness in the forward areas of Pallanwala and Rajouri. Accompanied by the GOC of the Cross Swords Division and the GOC of the Romeo Force, the visit focused on assessing the current defense posture along the Line of Control (LoC).
During the assessment, the senior commanders evaluated the effectiveness of the counter-terrorism grid, scrutinizing various operational elements, including readiness and surveillance mechanisms. Discussions highlighted the coordination among different military forces to address evolving security challenges in the region.
Engaging directly with troops stationed in the challenging terrain, Lt Gen Mishra offered commendations for their alertness, combat readiness, and professionalism. He acknowledged the resilience displayed by the soldiers, who continue to perform admirably under demanding operational conditions.
