Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, currently serving as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Northern Command, conducted a significant visit to forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) as well as various locations in the hinterland. This visit aimed to evaluate the operational preparedness of troops stationed in these critical regions.
During his time on the ground, Lt Gen Sharma engaged in discussions with military personnel, where he received comprehensive briefings regarding the current security landscape. He was updated on ongoing counter-infiltration operations and assessed the formations’ readiness to effectively tackle emerging challenges that might pose threats to the area.
