Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, recently conducted a pivotal visit to multiple locations in Kishtwar to oversee ongoing counter-terrorism operations within the region. This visit included a meeting with the GOC of the Counter Insurgency Force (Delta), focused on reviewing the security situation and operational achievements in the area.
During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra received updates on a series of recent operations that successfully resulted in the elimination of three Pakistan-sponsored terrorists, one of whom was identified as a top commander of the militant organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). These operations were characterized by their swift execution, precision, and reliance on actionable intelligence, all of which proved vital in navigating the challenging terrain of the region.
The Corps Commander expressed his admiration for the troops’ professionalism, operational sharpness, and effective coordination that contributed to neutralizing these substantial threats. He commended the soldiers for their unwavering dedication and relentless pursuit of dismantling terror networks operating in the hinterland, recognizing their critical role in maintaining security and public safety.
