Notably, she has been commissioned as an officer in the Indian Army after undergoing a demanding 11-month training program. Cadet Harveen Kaur Kahlon chose to emulate her late husband, Major KPS Kahlon, who preferred to walk in her shoes. The 129 SATA Regiment’s Major KPS Kahlon was an artillery officer.
Anhadbir Singh, Harleen Kahlon’s son, travelled to Chennai’s Officers Training Academy (OTA) on Friday to witness his mother’s commissioning into the Indian Army.
