Union Public Service Commission released the NDA 1 2023 exam notification on 21st December 2022. The National Defence Academy Exam is conducted twice a year. It is a national-level examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The NDA Exam can be attempted in Hindi or English and is an offline, written examination.

On successfully passing the entrance exam, clearing the SSB Interview, and the medical exam, candidates who complete their training at the National Defence Academy are recruited into the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The NDA 1 2023 exam will take place on the 16th of April, 2023.
