NDA 2020 is just around the corner and it must be giving jittery nerves and anxiety to many of you who want to clear the exam with flying colours. This year because of the Covid-19 pandemic, UPSC is going to conduct both NDA 1 2020 & NDA 2 2020 exams on the same day itself, i.e., on 6th September, 2020.

Miscellaneous Rules for Examination

The Candidates must ensure that they strictly adhering to the following rules. These are the basic instructions that a candidate must know before going to attempt the examination.

ARTICLES PERMITTED

  • Clip board or hard board (on which nothing is written) if allowed.
  • A good quality Black Ball Pen for marking responses on the Answer Sheet.
  • Last few pages under Question booklet will be supplied by the invigilator for rough work.
  • Admit Card and ID Proof.

ARTICLES NOT PERMITTED

  • Books, notes, loose sheets.
  • Any other type of calculators, mathematical and drawing
  • Test Booklets and rough sheets pertaining to the earlier sessions.
  • Mobiles, phones, Bluetooth, pagers, or any other communication devices.
  • Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including a ban from future examinations.

CONDUCT IN EXAMINATION HALL

  • Unfair means strictly prohibited.
  • No candidate should misbehave in any manner or create disorderly scene in the Examination Hall.
  • Any such misconduct will be severely penalized.

ANSWER SHEET PARTICULARS

  • Write with Black ball pen your Centre and subject followed by test booklet series (in bracket), subject code and roll number at the appropriate space provided on the answer sheet at the top.
  • Encode your booklet series (A, B, C, or D as the case may be), subject code and roll number in the circles provided for the purpose in the answer sheet.

METHOD OF MARKING ANSWERS

  • The question paper will be in the Form of TEST BOOKLET.
  • For each question / Item several suggested answers / Responses are given. You must choose one response to each item.
  • In any case, for each item you are to select only one response, if you select more than one response, your response will be considered wrong.
  • In the Answer Sheet, Serial Nos. From 1 to 160 are printed. Against each number, there are circles marked (a), (b), (c) and (d). You must mark your response by completely blackening with black ball pen to indicate your response.
