ParaZero Technologies Secures First DefendAir Contract from Major Israeli Defense Entity

ParaZero Technologies has announced the successful acquisition of its first DefendAir contract, awarded by a prominent Israeli defense entity. This milestone marks a significant advancement for the Kefar Sava-based company, highlighting their commitment to addressing contemporary defense challenges.

The DefendAir system is designed specifically as a counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) technology, utilizing a unique net to capture and incapacitate enemy drones, thereby minimizing collateral damage. The contract encompasses multiple weapon sets along with integration and training services, ensuring rapid deployment capabilities in response to the escalating drone threats identified by military experts.

The Israeli defense entity recognized the critical need to enhance its operational capabilities in light of the increasing risk that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) pose to ground forces and various military operations in emerging conflicts. Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero, expressed pride in receiving this first substantial order. He emphasized that it serves as a testament to the reliability and effectiveness of the DefendAir systems within real-world defense environments. Alon stated, “This procurement underscores the urgent need for advanced, scalable counter-drone capabilities. We are proud to contribute to enhancing the protection of Israeli forces and look forward to supporting broader deployment of our technology.”

This recent contract follows a series of successful engagements by ParaZero. The company had previously secured an order from a global defense firm in October 2025, as well as one from a prestigious defense organization in August of the same year. In December 2025, ParaZero showcased its DefendAir technology during demonstrations for NATO and Germany, further solidifying its reputation within the defense industry.

The DefendAir system boasts versatility in its deployment methods. It can be launched via an interception drone, from a stationary turret, or operated as a hand-held unit. The system has an effective engagement range of 2 to 100 meters (approximately 7 to 328 feet), depending on its configuration, with net sizes ranging from 9 to 100 square meters (97 to 1,076 square feet). Furthermore, users can enhance the system’s capabilities by equipping it with additional radar, command and control relay, and radio frequency systems, thus tailoring it to meet specific operational requirements.

With the increasing prevalence of drone technologies in military contexts, ParaZero’s innovations position it at the forefront of developing solutions that address this evolving threat landscape, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of military operations in the years to come.
