PureCipher has secured a significant contract to deliver secure communication capabilities for the United States Air Force’s combat missions. This initiative focuses on utilizing advanced artificial intelligence-enabled systems designed to ensure “stealth, tamper-evident, and real-time” trusted communications for some of the service’s most critical tasks.
The collaboration will be coordinated with the Michigan Air National Guard’s Kelly Johnson Joint All-Domain Innovation Center. It aims to support the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, which plays a crucial role in preparing hundreds of joint and partner forces each year.
This contract was awarded under the auspices of AFWERX, a segment of the Air Force dedicated to innovation. AFWERX’s Small Business Innovation Research program facilitates quicker award timelines, reduces bureaucratic hurdles, and fosters collaborations with high-impact small enterprises.
Wendy Chin, founder and CEO of PureCipher, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are honored to partner with AFWERX to bring advanced secure communications to the forefront of national defense.” She highlighted that the award recognizes PureCipher’s commitment to defending data, models, and critical operations in real-time through the use of quantum-resilient and AI-native protections.
Among PureCipher’s notable offerings are the “Personal Boss” data manager, the “Artificial Immune Systems” layered threat defense mechanism, “OmniSeal” for integrity assurance, and the “Intelligent Digital Container,” which provides access protection. This diversity of solutions underscores the company’s strategic focus on enhancing security in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.
