Senior Most Submariner of the Indian Navy, Vice Admiral Srikant, AVSM, passed away due to Covid-19 related complications at Base Hospital in New Delhi on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
He is popularly known as ‘Grey Dolphin’ in the Indian Navy, He was the Director General of Project Seabird. (Karwar Naval Base)
Earlier, he had held the titles including Inspector General of Nuclear Safety and Commandant of the National Defence College. He was to retire at the end of this month, We Lost One of the finest officer and gentleman, Om Shanthi.
