Serbia has recently introduced its armed PEGASUS unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), enhancing its drone capabilities by integrating it with the Emirati-made RASH-2M guided munition kit. This development signals a significant advancement in the nation’s defense technology and strategy.
Initially designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions, the PEGASUS UAV is now capable of executing precision strikes. This upgrade reflects Belgrade’s commitment to modernizing its unmanned combat fleet, aligning with contemporary military requirements.
The PEGASUS UAV was unveiled at the Partner 2025 defense exhibition, showcasing its operational prowess. With a payload capacity of 54 kilograms (119 pounds) and a maximum takeoff weight of 265 kilograms (584 pounds), it is engineered for versatility and effectiveness in various combat scenarios.
